About 10km south of the airport lies Caleta de Fuste – also known as Castillo, one of the major tourist towns on the island. You will never be short of things to do in Caleta de Fuste with all the usual watersports, boat trips and diving available. The nightlife is pretty varied too with plenty of bars offering all kinds of entertainment, from live music to karaoke and a wide variety of restaurants including Chinese, Italian and authentic Spanish. Because of Caleta de Fuste’s central location, it is easy to explore the rest of the Island.

The large modern club style Barcelo Fuerteventura Hotel has a great range of facilities and is located perfectly on the beach front of Caleta de Fuste. It is beside the promenade and harbour with water sports facilities & a diving school. It is only 300metres from the resort centre. Fuerteventura’s two golf courses are 2kn from the hotel.
Rooms: are brightly decorated and air-conditioned. TV, telephone, mini-bar, safety deposit box (local charge), bath with shower & hairdryer, balcony or terrace..
